Full time vacancy

Prospero Teaching is looking for an English Teacher to start immediately on a permanent basis in a mainstream secondary school in the Borough of Tower Hamlets.

About the school and contract:

• You will focus on teaching KS3 & KS4 students.
• You will have LSAs to support you.
• 5 days a week

About the successful English Teacher:

• Previous experience teaching English to KS3 & KS4 students in the UK.
• Hold a relevant degree.
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in the UK is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.

Eligibility criteria through Prospero Teaching:

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
