Secondary School Cover Supervisor Needed– Immediate Start

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Start Date: As soon as possible

Please note to be a Cover Supervisor you are required to have at least a Masters Degree.

Nene Education Trust is seeking a strong and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team. This role involves supervising students in the absence of their class teacher by delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring they stay on task with their work and manage behaviour professionally.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and support students, ensuring they remain engaged with set tasks.
2. Carry out pre planned lessons.
3. Maintain a positive classroom environment, managing behaviour in a fair, professional manner.
4. Behaviour management.
5. Report on student progress and any issues to relevant staff.

Requirements:

1. Candidates must have at least a Masters Degree
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to teaching.
4. Experience working with young people (desirable).
5. Professional approach and commitment to the ethos of Nene Education Trust.
