Are you passionate about education and looking for flexible work in secondary schools across Telford? ABC Teachers are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support local secondary schools with day-to-day and long-term cover.

About the role

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Ensure all learning objectives are achieved during the teacher's absence.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Secondary school- Cover supervisor you will:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable.
  • Confident classroom presence with strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Flexible and available to work on short notice across Telford and surrounding areas.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through ABC Teachers.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable.
