Malcolm Arnold Academy is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Religious Education to join our team. You will deliver the RE curriculum to students in Years 7–13, striving for high standards and inclusive learning.

The role supports the academy’s ambition to provide a broad, knowledge-rich education and strong moral development. You will contribute to assessments, update subject materials, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive classroom environment and continuous professional growth

Competenze

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school is essential.
• A relevant subject degree in RE or related field is expected.

Mansioni

• Setting high expectations for all learners.
• Teaching the RE curriculum to Years 7–13 with engaging, well-prepared lessons.
• Assessing students’ progress and adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
• Contributing to oral and written assessments, reports and references.
• Ensuring ICT, Literacy, Numeracy and subject knowledge are reflected in lessons.
• Maintaining a high-quality learning environment and core classroom discipline.
