Are you an energetic and committed Secondary PE Teacher looking to inspire the next generation through sport and physical education?

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Secondary Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school in Fareham, Hampshire. This role offers the opportunity to promote physical health, teamwork, and resilience while delivering a high-quality PE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities of a Secondary PE Teacher:

  • Deliver a high-quality PE curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
  • Promote physical fitness, team spirit, and personal development through a range of sports and activities.
  • Plan and lead engaging lessons, adapting to students' individual abilities and needs.
  • Organise and participate in extra-curricular clubs, inter-school competitions, and sports days.
  • Encourage students to develop leadership skills, resilience, and a lifelong love for physical activity.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, upholding high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.

The Ideal Secondary PE Teacher Will Have:

  • QTS, ECT status, or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
  • A specialism in Physical Education with strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and behaviour management skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to engaging students in sport.
  • A genuine commitment to student well-being, health, and achievement.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
