Secondary PE and Games Teacher – The King’s School, Witney (Part-time)

Post:Part-time GCSE PE and Games teaching post at The King’s School, Witney, Oxfordshire; two days a week (ideally Wednesday and Friday). An independent Christian school (3-16) run by Oxfordshire Community Churches
Salary:Between £11,149 and £12,494 pa (FT equivalent £27,873-£31,235 pa) depending on qualifications, experience and roles

We are looking for a part-time teacher who can take on the role of GCSE PE and Games teacher. The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner, flexible, and servant-hearted. A willingness to lead whole school Games would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be able to build upon the successes of the past, maintaining the distinctive quality and tone of the school, and will be able to work as part of a strong staff team in line with the vision of Oxfordshire Community Churches. It is therefore a genuine and determining occupational requirement that the job-holder must be a committed Christian, willing to work with others in the context of OCC’s ethos statement.

  • Teaching, oversight and development of GCSE PE
  • Delivering the Secondary School Games programme

Potential Roles

  • Leading the whole-school Games programme

It is desirable for the successful applicant to hold a D1 (minibus) driving qualification, although training could be provided if required.
