Music teachers teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

MUSIC TEACHER CONTRACT DETAILS:

• Location: Tottenham
• Position: Music teacher
• Type of work: KS3 & KS4 Music Teacher
• Contract or position starting date: ASAP
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full time/Part time: Both available
• Minimum pay: Inline with your pay scale
• Hours: 8am – 4pm, plus parents’ evenings

MUSIC TEACHER JOB:

• The position is open to both Music ECT/NQT’s and experienced Music teachers.
• You will join a successful, well-structured department.
• The Music Department boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a range of instruments and music suites.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students, supporting all designated classes in English.
• Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher and Form Tutor.
• Facilitate and encourage a learning experience providing students with opportunities to achieve their potential.
• Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
• Support the academy’s responsibility to provide opportunities for personal and academic growth.
• Participate actively in the life of the academy community, supporting its aims and ethos, and encouraging staff and students to follow this example.

MUSIC TEACHER EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• QTS or equivalent
• PGCE
• Music-related degree
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS MUSIC TEACHER JOB THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional children-related references
