Vetro Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Music Teacher to work in a secondary school in Blaenau Gwent. The school supports learners in Key Stage 3 and 4, and has tasked Vetro to find a Teacher who can start immediately and become part of the team from day one.

Role Details:

• Full-time position, teaching Year 7, 8, 9, and GCSE classes
• Immediate start, until end of summer term 2025

Responsibilities:

• Lead classrooms for Key Stage 3 and 4 learners
• Prepare classrooms and plan schemes of work
• Deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Engage students through classroom and lab activities
• Adhere to the school's behavior policies

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of Music teaching experience (exceptions for NQTs)
• Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - assistance available
• References covering the past two years
• Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
