Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Maths tutor with a proven track record of success in teaching students in KS3 - KS4 Level. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans, assessing student learning, and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.

• This job is in person in the Sittingbourne area
• Hours: 1 hour per week
• Day(s): Monday - Friday
• Time(s): After 4pm
• Subject and Level: KS3 - KS4 Maths

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
• Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
• Assess any barriers to student’s learning and work to overcome these
• Monitor student progress and produce reports
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
• Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

• 1+ years of tutoring/teaching experience
• Experience working with students with SEN and/or SEMH needs is preferred
• An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The right to be self-employed in the UK
