Secondary Maths Teacher - Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available for the right candidate)
Engage students through well-planned, innovative, and differentiated teaching methods
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages high expectations and achievement
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback that supports growth and improvement
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practices
Contribute to extracurricular and enrichment activities that support wider school life
Secondary Maths Teacher - Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject is highly desirable
Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level, with strong classroom management skills
A deep understanding of the mathematics curriculum and effective pedagogical strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction and support students of varying abilities and backgrounds
