Job summary

Academics is recruiting for a Secondary Maths Teacher to work across Ellesmere Port with immediate start opportunities. The role offers flexible daily supply, short-term, and longer placements in supportive secondary schools.

You will plan and deliver Maths lessons across KS3/KS4, with potential KS5/A-Level opportunities for qualified specialists. A strong STEM background and DBS (Update Service) are preferred.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or related quantitative discipline.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics KS3/KS4 and GCSE prep strategies.
• Excellent communication and classroom management; adaptable to diverse learners.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply) and ability to commute around Ellesmere Port/Cheshire West.
