Reed Education is seeking a dynamic History Teacher to join a school in Lancaster as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who has a strong knowledge of the curriculum and is committed to creating an engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and informative History lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 teaching experience would be an advantage.
  • Utilise strong subject knowledge to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students\' varying needs and interests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Recent relevant experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 is advantageous.
  • Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Reliable, committed, and capable of working effectively with students.
  • Demonstrates qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills; must be trustworthy, punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
