Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long term, Full-Time
Salary: 90 - 110 per day

A high-performing and inclusive secondary school in Leeds are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their staff ASAP for the full academic year. This opportunity is ideal for graduates aiming to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into a teaching career through routes such as PGCE or School Direct.

Responsibilities
  • Provide subject-specific support across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention sessions to raise attainment.
  • Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Support behaviour management to ensure a productive learning environment.
  • Work with students of all abilities, including those with SEN and EAL needs.
  • Take part in extra-curricular activities, clubs, and wider school initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
