Contract Type: Full-time (term-time only)
Salary: 170 daily rate

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? We are seeking a skilled educator to join secondary schools in Cardiff, helping students achieve success in English.



About the Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that inspire a love for English language and literature.
  • Plan and assess work to ensure every student can reach their full potential.
  • Support students of varying abilities, encouraging confidence and critical thinking.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Has a degree in English or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching.
  • Possesses strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum and experience with exam preparation.
  • A willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
