Hays Education is looking to register a number of English teachers of all experience levels for long-term positions and day-to-day cover. Start dates will range from ASAP to throughout the academic year.
You will be taking on the role of an English teacher in both Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. Responsibilities include planning, preparation, attending staff meetings and parents' evenings. This role is initially full-time from 24th February 2025 through to Easter, with the potential for extension into the summer term. Part-time candidates (4 days per week) and ECTs will also be considered.
To be registered with Hays Education, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status or be an NQT. Ideally, you should have experience teaching English up to KS4. You must demonstrate full commitment to the role, along with a strong work ethic and flexibility to adapt to your new environment.
You will be paid to scale from day one, reflecting your experience. You will have a dedicated and supportive Hays Consultant in contact throughout the contract. You can submit your timesheets weekly via the Hays Timesheet App or online system. There is potential for long-term positions to be extended or made permanent, depending on the school's needs.
