A leading school in Huddersfield is seeking a dedicated Secondary English Teacher starting September 2025. This temporary to permanent role focuses on teaching students with Autism and other learning difficulties in a nurturing setting. Candidates should possess QTS and have experience in special needs education to join this passionate team.

Location: Huddersfield HD1
Start date: 1st September 2025
Salary £28k - £38K per annum (actual salary)
Term: Term time only - Temporary to permanent role
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am 4pm
Core Education are proud to be working with a privately funded SEND school, based in the Huddersfield area. They are recruiting for a passionate education professional, a Secondary English Teacher to start in September 2025.
The school offers a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 5 and 18 with Autism and/or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). There young people may have several diagnoses including ASD, ADHD, FASD, anxiety and/or, communication and interaction, cognition, and learning needs.
Classes are small (no more than 8 children in each class, with Teaching Assistant support) an exciting role for a passionate teacher, working with a team of professionals in a school with a 'Good' Ofsted rating, led by a brilliant Senior leadership team.
The school are looking for a Secondary English or Science Teacher who has previously worked with children who have additional learning needs.
