Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Create a classroom environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.
• Track and support pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support whole-school initiatives.
• Uphold school policies and contribute positively to the school community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (including ECTs and overseas qualifications).
• A genuine passion for English literature and language.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and reflective teaching style.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
