Secondary ECT (Early Career Teacher) - Ashington

Pay: £150 - £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Daily Supply, Long-Term

The Role of a Secondary ECT (Early Career Teacher):
  1. Plan and deliver well-structured lessons following the national curriculum
  2. Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs
  3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  4. Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
  5. Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  6. Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  7. Take part in professional development, mentoring, and training sessions

What We're Looking For in a Secondary ECT (Early Career Teacher):
  1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
  2. Experience teaching in a secondary school (as an ECT or trainee)
  3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
  4. Ability to engage and inspire students through interactive lessons
  5. Good classroom management and organisational skills
  6. A proactive and reflective teaching approach

Requirements:

Updated CV (last 10 years) and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
