- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons following the national curriculum
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Take part in professional development, mentoring, and training sessions
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
- Experience teaching in a secondary school (as an ECT or trainee)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
- Ability to engage and inspire students through interactive lessons
- Good classroom management and organisational skills
- A proactive and reflective teaching approach
Updated CV (last 10 years) and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
