About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join us! This exciting opportunity is ideal for a newly qualified teacher looking to begin their career in supportive and dynamic environments.
As a Secondary ECT, you will have the chance to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with experienced staff who will mentor and guide you through your induction period, ensuring you develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in your teaching career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and parents' evenings.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Secondary Early Career Teachers you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong subject knowledge in your specialist area.
- A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to participate in further training.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
