GSL Education is looking for a dedicated Secondary Early Career Teacher to support a Secondary school in Newcastle.

Job Summary: The role of a Secondary early career teacher is multifaceted, encompassing responsibilities related to teaching, classroom management, student assessment, professional development, and collaboration with colleagues and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Hold or be working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Show creativity in lesson planning and delivery, making learning engaging and accessible for all students.
  • Willingness to reflect on your practice and seek continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
