Secondary DT Teacher - Secondary Teaching Role in Lincoln

Location: Lincoln
Salary: £31,607 - £43,605 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP - Summer Break 2025

Are you a talented and passionate Secondary DT Teacher looking for a new teaching opportunity? Simply Education is working with a well-established Secondary School in Lincoln to fill an exciting opportunity to join their team until the summer break. This full-time teaching role will include full planning, teaching, and marking responsibilities, teaching both KS3 & KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  2. Monitoring pupil progress and providing a supportive environment for all learners
  3. Working in collaboration with colleagues, parents, and school staff to ensure that the enhancement of pupil development is prioritised
  4. Participate in CPD, staff meetings, and whole-school activities

Candidate Requirements:
  1. PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
  2. A passion for secondary education and strong skills in communication, organisation and classroom management
  3. Understanding of the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4
  4. A proactive approach to teaching and the ability to encourage pupil engagement
