Cover Teachers - Secondary School (Stockport, South Manchester)

Are you a passionate and adaptable Teacher with experience covering a range of subjects across secondary year groups? Cover People are seeking a General Cover Teacher for high schools based in Wythenshawe, South Manchester, available for short term, flexible cover.

This role is ideal for qualified teachers looking for regular supply work without the commitment of a full-time timetable. You will be joining a welcoming and values-driven school community where strong behaviour management and a calm, professional presence is key.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a variety of pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Step in to plan or adapt lesson activities when cover work is unavailable
• Provide brief feedback to teaching staff on pupil behaviour and lesson progress

• Support pupils with additional needs where appropriate, under teacher/department guidance
