We are now seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Cover Teacher to join their school and ensure continuity of learning across departments when staff are absent. Beginning May 2025.

Duties as a Cover Teacher:
  1. Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher
  2. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  3. Support pupils to remain engaged and on task
  4. Provide feedback to subject staff on lesson progress and any issues
  5. Be a positive role model and uphold the school’s values
Ideal Cover Teacher:
  1. A confident and adaptable individual with strong communication skills
  2. Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth work)
  3. The ability to manage a classroom and support a positive learning environment
  4. Ideally, a degree or teaching qualification as a Cover Teacher.
  5. A flexible, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in education
