Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a Secondary Cover Supervisor in Lincoln to lead engaging lessons and support pupil progress in line with the national curriculum. You will create a positive classroom environment and collaborate with staff and parents to prioritise pupil development.

The role requires a strong passion for secondary education, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a proactive, adaptable approach to teaching.

Qualifications

• PGCE with QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

Secondary Cover Supervisor (Lincoln)

Location: Lincolnshire

Salary: £100-£120 per day

Contract: Full-time, Part-Time, Monday to Friday

Start Date: 01.11.2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering interesting and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a classroom environment that promotes support and engagement for all types of learners
• Working in collaboration with your colleagues and parents to ensure that pupil development is prioritised and strengthened
• Promoting a positive learning experience by monitoring and supporting pupil progress

Candidate Requirements:

• PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• A strong passion for secondary education and a commitment to high-quality teaching
• Understanding of the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4
• Strong organisational and communication skills, and effective classroom management
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and pupil engagement
