Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support a coeducational comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in Essex. The role can be part or full time and is temporary in the first instance.

Responsibilities include supervising classes, managing pupil behaviour, ensuring students complete work, and providing feedback on pupil progress. The position is suitable for recent graduates or experienced supervisors with relevant UK experience.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS.
• UK Bachelor’s Degree or an overseas equivalent.
• Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK secondary schools.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher.
• Managing pupil behaviour in line with the schools policies.
• Ensuring students complete their work.
• Providing feedback to the team in relation to pupils behaviour.
