Job Title: Secondary Cover Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Secondary Cover Supervisor to support a school environment by covering a variety of classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role requires someone who is confident in delivering lessons based on provided plans and can effectively manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support students across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
  • Follow detailed lesson plans with confidence and clarity
  • Manage classroom behaviour according to established behaviour plans
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders to provide a consistent learning environment
  • Provide additional support and guidance where necessary to maintain engagement and discipline
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong adaptability to work across different subjects and classes
  • Confidence in following and delivering lesson plans
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour with professionalism and patience
  • A proactive and supportive approach to working within a team
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or educational role is an advantage, but not essential
