Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification is required.
• Degree in Art, Fine Art, Art Education or related discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Develop students' skills in drawing, painting, sculpture and digital media.
• Assess and monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain records.
• Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity and expression.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Organise exhibitions, art shows and school events to showcase work.
• Maintain art supplies and ensure health and safety standards.
