We are seeking a skilled and passionate Secondary Art Teacher to teach Art and Design across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students, igniting creativity, and supporting artistic growth within a respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed its first Year 7 students in September 2018, and its first Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. The school is rapidly expanding and aims to grow to a full cohort of 1,320 students. This is an exciting time to join as the school continues its journey to outstanding.

What will you do?

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive art lessons that inspire creativity and ensure progress for pupils of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Plan, assess, and differentiate effectively to meet diverse learning needs, using data to inform teaching and drive achievement.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment, promoting high standards of behaviour, literacy, and pupil responsibility.
• Collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and communicate effectively with parents and external bodies.
• Uphold professional responsibilities including safeguarding, curriculum development, and participation in training and performance reviews.
