Job Description:

Academics Ltd is seeking a passionate Art & Design/Music Teacher to join our team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting in the South Yorkshire Area. This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engage & Inspire: Develop and deliver engaging Art & Design and Music lessons tailored to SEN students.
  2. Nurture Growth: Create a supportive classroom environment where students can thrive.
  3. Collaborate: Work with the SEN team to create individualized learning plans.
  4. Innovate: Use innovative teaching methods to inspire creativity and confidence.
  5. Assess & Support: Monitor student progress and provide feedback for development.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
  3. Skills: Strong knowledge in Art & Design and Music, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Attributes: Patient, compassionate, and adaptable.
  5. Checks: DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
