Job description

We are working with a global Secondary Advisory team who are looking to add an Analyst/Associate to their growing team in London.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Prepare analysis on portfolios, in order to originate high quality transactions.
  2. Working with the team to perform due diligence on prospective transactions at both the fund and portfolio company level.
  3. Maintain all transaction-related documentation – including status reports, activity reports, investor profiles and agendas.
  4. Conduct research and analysis into the private equity and venture capital secondaries market – including fund managers (GPs), investors (LPs), various trends and specifics related to either GPs and LPs, macro-economic and micro-economic dynamics, as well as legal, regulatory compliance.
  5. Support deal leaders on all aspects of deal management – including compiling and implementing action lists to ensure weekly tasks are completed, provision of investor information to LPs, due diligence requests and general follow up information requests about LPs/GPs.
Qualifications
  1. 2-4 years’ experience of working in secondary advisory or investment banking.
  2. Debt and equity experience desirable.
  3. GP restructuring experience of interest.
  4. May have a specialism in private credit or real estate, for example.
  5. High level of attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  6. High level of verbal and written English communication skills.
  7. Strong numerical and Excel skills, including modelling experience.
