About the Role:

AsSecond in Department – Mathematics, you’ll support the Head of Maths in driving up standards, leading on curriculum development, and inspiring a love of learning acrossKey Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You’ll take on a key leadership role within a collaborative and high-performing team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the strategic direction of the Maths department
  • TeachingMathematics across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach atKS5depending on experience
  • Leading on curriculum planning, assessment, and intervention
  • Supporting, mentoring, and developing less experienced colleagues
  • Using data to monitor student progress and drive achievement
  • Contributing to enrichment opportunities and maths-focused extra-curricular activities
  • Upholding the school’s strong culture of academic excellence and inclusion

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Maths subject specialism
  • A proven track record of excellent teaching and student outcomes
