Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR

A progressive and inclusive school in Weston-super-Mare is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food Technology teacher to step into the role of Second in Department. With excellent resources and high levels of student interest, this is a great opportunity to play a key role in shaping a vibrant DT curriculum.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Supporting curriculum planning, assessment and student tracking

  • Mentoring junior staff and supporting the delivery of practical lessons

  • Leading on a specific Food Technology qualification or unit

  • Organising showcases and enrichment activities

  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene

Candidate Profile:

  • A qualified teacher with experience in Food and Nutrition or Hospitality

  • Strong subject knowledge and a practical, student-focused approach

  • Passionate about food education and healthy lifestyles

  • A collaborative and proactive member of the department
