Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing high-quality food that delights clients and customers
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve food services
  • Acting on customer feedback to enhance services
  • Supporting the creation of new menus and food concepts
  • Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories
  • Maintaining hygiene standards through kitchen cleaning
  • Following Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Sous Chef will:

  • Be passionate about great food and customer service
  • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Have supervisory experience
  • Have experience in a similar Chef role
  • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
  • Be flexible in working hours
