Job summary

The Restaurant Group (TRG) is seeking a Second Chef to support our Head Chef in busy, high-volume kitchens across our UK brands. You will help craft delightful dishes, uphold brand standards, and ensure guests leave satisfied from start to finish.

Qualifications

What we're looking for in our Second Chef

• Experienced in the fast-paced world of high-volume restaurants.
• In-depth knowledge of ingredients, food processes, and culinary techniques.
• Familiarity with a variety of kitchen appliances, ensuring optimal utilisation and efficiency.
• Understanding of hospitality management.
• Awareness of Profit & Loss (P&L) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Understand the nitty-gritty of laws and regulations like Health and Safety and Licensing Laws.
• Excel in communication and leadership skills.
• Awesome at organising and multitasking.
• Plus, you're ready to share your last 5 years of life's journey, whether that's work, education, or personal experiences, and you're okay with a criminal record check.
