Job summary

Ultimate Activity Camps is seeking a Tech Instructor to deliver structured technology and coding activities to small groups of 8- to 14-year-olds during the summer camp holidays. You will lead a group, deliver engaging sessions, and provide pastoral care with support from on-site leaders.

The role focuses on participation, creativity and safety, requiring energy, organisation and a positive role model for children. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in childcare settings.
• Experience in teaching or delivering coding or IT activities.
• Good organisation and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and patient approach is essential.
• Energetic and enthusiastic role model for children.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver activities for children aged 8-14, focusing on participation, skills and enjoyment.
• Adhere to all health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Take a pastoral role as group leader and main contact for the group.
• Supervise and engage with children beyond timetabled activities.
• Deliver computer-based activities using provided materials.
• Assist children with questions and queries and foster enthusiasm for technology.
• Act as an ambassador for Ultimate Activity Camps and maintain professional conduct.
• Other duties such as equipment maintenance or ordering as needed.
