Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Sales Assistants to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers at JD Sports, Birmingham Airport, B26 3QJ.

This is a Temporary contract with working hours between 8 and 32 hours per week.

Working in an Airport environment, you will work various shifts between 3:30am and 11pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

Successful candidates will be required to provide reference history for the last 5 years and undergo a criminal record check (DBS) in line with Airport Security Regulations.

Any unsocial hours worked between 10pm and 6am will be paid at a premium rate.

Please note: This position is not suitable for Young Workers (Under 18). In line with the Protection of Young Persons (Employment) Act 1996, young workers are not permitted to work between 10:00pm and 6:00am.

• Providing knowledgeable and seamless customer service.
• Maintaining clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor.

• Utilising in-store devices to showcase the full product range.
• Offering alternatives and upselling opportunities.
• Replenishing stock and ensuring the full-size range is available on the shop floor.
• Ensuring correct pricing of products.
• Deputising for other staff and carrying out additional duties as required.
• Representing JD Sports professionally at all times.
• Working safely and responsibly.

• Providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

• Replenishing stock promptly to maintain product availability.
