Role overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With ample opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be if you are motivated by progression and interested in developing your career.

Responsibilities:

  1. Providing a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
  2. Continuously maintaining clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor for customers at all times.
  3. Collaborate with your team members to achieve sales and KPI targets through being knowledgeable about current trends, in-store promotions, and continuously evolving store processes.
  4. Drive sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
  5. Utilise the in-store devices, offering the customer the whole product range.
  6. Provide alternatives and add-on sales at every opportunity.
  7. Replenish stock levels when needed, making sure the full-size range is on the shop floor where possible.
  8. Ensure that product is priced correctly.
  9. Deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
  10. Always represent JD Sports in the most professional manner.
  11. Conduct your work in a safe and responsible manner.

Role objectives and KPIs:

  1. Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  2. Actively drive sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding the store's financial goals.
  3. Ensure the timely and accurate replenishment of stock on the shop floor to maintain optimal product availability.
