Our stock includes coarse, carp, sea, fly, predator, and specialist tackle from over 100 top brands. Our team comprises passionate anglers specializing in every aspect of fishing.

Role overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This role offers opportunities for career development within JD Group, ideal for motivated individuals eager to progress and develop their careers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide knowledgeable and seamless customer service.
  2. Maintain clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor.
  3. Work with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets by staying informed on trends, promotions, and store processes.
  4. Drive sales to meet and exceed targets.
  5. Utilize in-store devices to showcase the full product range.
  6. Offer alternatives and suggest add-on sales.
  7. Replenish stock levels as needed, ensuring the full range is available on the shop floor.
  8. Ensure products are correctly priced.
  9. Deputize for other staff, work across departments, or perform other duties as required.
  10. Represent JD Sports professionally at all times.
  11. Work in a safe and responsible manner.

Role objectives and KPIs:

  1. Deliver exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  2. Actively support sales to meet and exceed financial goals.
  3. Replenish stock accurately and timely to maintain product availability.
