Role overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be if you are motivated by progression and interested in developing your career.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
  • Maintaining clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor at all times.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets through knowledge of current trends, in-store promotions, and store processes.
  • Driving sales to ensure targets are achieved and exceeded where possible.
  • Utilising in-store devices to offer customers the full product range.
  • Providing alternatives and add-on sales at every opportunity.
  • Replenishing stock levels as needed, ensuring the full range is available on the shop floor.
  • Ensuring products are correctly priced.
  • Deputising for other staff, working within departments, or carrying out other duties as required.
  • Representing JD Sports professionally at all times.
  • Conducting work in a safe and responsible manner.
Role objectives and KPIs:
  • Providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively driving sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding financial goals.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate replenishment of stock to maintain product availability.
