Job summary

Hotel Chocolat in Thurrock is seeking a Seasonal Stockroom Assistant to help receive, unpack, store and replenish stock during our busiest Christmas period. You don’t need previous experience; reliability and flexibility to meet store trading and delivery times are key.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, keeping the stockroom tidy, supporting replenishment and ensuring stock is handled with care. The role includes company perks and the chance to contribute to our festive sales surge.

Job description

Are you ready to join Hotel Chocolat at our busiest and most magical time of year? Christmas starts early here at Hotel Chocolat, and we need a reliable, focused, and friendly Seasonal Stockroom Assistant who can receive, unpack, store, and replenish stock quickly so our customers can find the perfect gift for their loved ones! You don’t need experience for this role however we ask that you are reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the stores trading and delivery times and are comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing...

• Processing stock deliveries, ensuring all items are handled and stored with care, maintaining stockroom standards, supporting replenishment and limiting stock damage adhering to Health & Safety guidelines and HR policies.
• Keeping the stockroom clean and organised.
• Replenishing stock onto the shop floor.
