Seasonal Sales Assistant (Nights)


Contract Type: Full Time


Employment Type: Temporary


Role Overview:


Being part of Team JD, you will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, processing, organising, labelling, and storing merchandise. You will assist in maximising store profitability by following all security procedures regarding store deliveries while contributing to a successful store team.


As a Store Delivery Assistant you’ll be doing the following:


  1. Accept and book in store deliveries using delivery systems in place.
  2. Handle deliveries daily, maintaining order and tidiness, avoiding damage, and preventing stock loss.
  3. Contribute to profitability by receiving, handling, and managing inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organised manner.
  4. Ensure compliance with stockroom procedures in handling stock and make sure all products are priced correctly.
  5. Ensure that products are accessible, constantly available, and properly distributed.
  6. Assist in maintaining standards on the shop floor and replenish stock levels when needed, ensuring the full-size range is on the shop floor where possible.
  7. Deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
  8. Always represent JD Sports in the most professional manner.

As a Store Delivery Assistant you’ll have:
