Overview

To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, with the possibility of extra hours when we are busy. You should be approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service. You must be physically fit and able to move stock around the store, work with deliveries and pallets, both on your own and as part of a team. You may also be asked to help out in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries are part of the role.

Key information about this role

• Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus £12.21 per hour
• Contract end date: 3 January 2026
• Hours: Our stores are open 7 days a week, including Sundays; a 12-hour-per-week contract is available (e.g., 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6-hour shifts). There may be a chance to work extra hours depending on trade and needs.
• Shifts: Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week; please give as much detail as possible in your application
• Christmas period: You will be asked to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve during peak times

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and flexible coverage, including potential extra hours during busy periods
• Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly, approachable manner
• Assist with stock movement, deliveries and pallets, both independently and as part of a team
• Support merchandising duties and keep shelves full; engage with customers
• Assist in the Tesco concession space as required
