Overview

At The Entertainer, Ipswich Carr Street, we love to create memories for all customers who come through our doors, helping to find the perfect toy or gift, keeping the shelves full and our stores welcoming. At Christmas, this is no different!

Reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, there may be the chance of extra hours too if we're busy.

Responsibilities

• Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service
• Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team
• Be willing and able to help out when needed in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries
• Support the store on weekends and busy periods as required

Pay, Hours & Contract

• 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour
• 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour
• Contract end date: 3rd January 2026
• Our stores are open 7 days a week, so you will need to be able to support us at weekends, including Sundays
• The hours available for this store are a 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or you might be asked to work two 6-hour shifts
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week; provide as much detail as possible in your application
• There may also be an opportunity to work extra hours in this role, depending on trade

Christmas Period & Benefits
