The Entertainer in Exeter is seeking a Seasonal Sales Assistant to help customers find the perfect toy or gift and keep the store welcoming during the busy Christmas period.

You will be on a flexible part-time contract, working shifts that may include evenings and weekends, with pay rates of £11.15 per hour for under 21s and £12.71 per hour for 21s and over. The role includes a 31st December 2026 contract end date and benefits such as staff discounts.

Key Information about this role:

Rates of Pay:

16-20 year olds - £11.15 per hour.

21-year-oldplus - £12.71 per hour

Contract end date:31stDecember 2026.

Our stores will be open 7 days a week so you will need to be able to support us at the weekends including Sundays.

The hours we have available for this store are:

• A 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or you might be asked to work two 6-hour shifts.
• A 20-hour per week contract: you may typically be working 4-hour shifts over 5 days.

So, if you are flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week, have a great attitude, and friendly personality, we can make the hours you are available – work for you and us, There may also be an opportunity for you to work extra hours in this role, depending on trade.

To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be:

• Reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, there may be the chance of extra hours too if we're busy!
• Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service, talking to customers on the shop floor and at the till points.
• Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team
• Attentive to detail, keeping the shelves full and handling deliveries.
