Job summary

The Entertainer Peterborough is hiring a Seasonal Sales Assistant to help customers during peak Christmas trading. You will ensure shelves are stocked, assist shoppers, and operate tills with a friendly, proactive approach.

Flexible to work evenings and weekends, including Sundays, with a 12-hour per week contract. You may be asked to cover busier periods such as Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, and benefit from a toy discount and fortnightly pay.

With a love of toys, customer service and an enthusiastic personality, you could be the perfect match to join our team as a Seasonal Sales Assistant.

Key Information about this role:

Rates of Pay:

16-20 year olds - £11.15 per hour.

21-year-oldplus - £12.71 per hour

Contract end date:31stDecember 2026.

Our stores will be open 7 days a week so you will need to be able to support us at the weekends including Sundays.

The hours we have available for this store are:

• A 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or you might be asked to work two 6-hour shifts.

So, if you are flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week, have a great attitude, and friendly personality, we can make the hours you are available – work for you and us.

With all our Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts you will also be asked to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Years Eve– they’re some of our busiest days of the year.

To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be:

• Reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, there may be the chance of extra hours too if we're busy!
• Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service, talking to customers on the shop floor and at the till points.
• Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team
• Attentive to detail, keeping the shelves full and handling deliveries.
