Overview

To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, with the potential for extra hours when busy. You should be approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service, physically fit to move stock around the store, and willing to assist in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping shelves full, talking to customers, and handling deliveries are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and flexible availability for shifts, with potential extra hours during busy periods.
• Deliver excellent customer service by being approachable and confident.
• Move stock around the store and assist with deliveries and pallets, both independently and as part of a team.
• Support merchandising tasks, keep shelves stocked, and engage with customers in-store.
• Assist in the Tesco concession area as needed.

Key Information

• Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus £12.21 per hour.
• Contract end date: 3 January 2026.
• Store hours: Open 7 days a week; weekend availability (including Sundays) and twilight evenings are essential.
• Available contracts: 12 hours/week (4-hour shifts over 3 days or two 6-hour shifts), 8 hours/week (4-hour shifts over 2 days or one full day), 20 hours/week (4-hour shifts over 5 days).
• Shifts may include Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve due to peak period demand.
