Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking a Seasonal Sales Advisor to help delight customers during the Christmas peak. You’ll guide shoppers to perfect gifts, ask about their needs, and ensure allergen checks where needed.

You will support store teams with deliveries and replenishment, process till transactions and exchanges, and maintain a high standard across store and cafe areas. The role offers incentives and strong staff discounts during the season.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with a focus on gifting or seasonal retail.
• Ability to ask questions to identify buying needs and check allergens.
• Capable of handling till transactions, refunds and exchanges.
• Willingness to assist with deliveries/replenishment and cafe duties if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and guide them through seasonal products and gifts.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable options.
• Support store team with stock replenishment and deliveries.
• Process transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Maintain store and cafe areas to WOW customers.
• If applicable, prepare drinks and snacks in-store cafe following guidelines.

We ask that you are reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the stores trading and delivery times and are comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll be doing:

• Immersing our customers in the world of Hotel Chocolat and a store full of inspirational seasonal products including the perfect gift - the Velvetiser.
• Ensuring our customers find the perfect Christmas gift for everyone on their shopping list by discovering your customers' reason for their visit, asking them key questions to establish their buying needs and checking for allergens throughout your time with them.
• Supporting the store team with deliveries and replenishment as needed.
• Processing transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Maintaining a high standard in our store and café areas to WOW our customers.
• If your store has a café area, you will prepare hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks according to our guidelines and processes whilst keeping the area immaculately clean.
• Supporting where you can to the success of your store and team.
