Dakota Hotels in Scotland seeks an outgoing Restaurant Waiter/Waitress for a festive, fixed-term role from 2 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. It operates on a zero-hours contract with induction and training on 3 November and 12 November. The position requires holiday availability and a guest-centric service approach.

Estimated earnings are £16.38 per hour (basic £12.71 plus average tron). Tron is variable and non-contractual.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in hospitality.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to pour, serve and upsell beverages.
• Flexibility to cover peak festive dates and shift patterns.
• Demonstrate brand research and enthusiasm for the role.

Responsibilities

• Wait on guests as a section waiter/waitress, take orders and carry large trays.
• Engage guests with personalised food and beverage recommendations.
• Coordinate with Bar and Kitchen teams for smooth service flow.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and allergens to guide choices.
