About the role

This is a Seasonal Temp Picker role on a 12-week rolling contract, working 5 days a week from 3pm to 7pm.

You will be responsible for exceeding customer expectations by working across various store areas, including filling shelves, serving on tills, managing stock, and picking deliveries. No two days are the same, but every task is vital to ensure customers receive their items quickly and efficiently.

We seek someone with a positive attitude, passionate about customer service, and willing to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking and dispatching goods using a handheld terminal, and reporting any discrepancies to the manager.
• Checking quality, shelf life, and packaging to ensure readiness for delivery.
• Providing high standards of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting targets.
• Polite interaction with delivery staff and appropriate responses to queries and complaints, escalating complex issues when necessary.
