Sealyham Active Learning Centre in Pembrokeshire seeks an Outdoor Instructor for a seasonal fixed-term role. You will lead multi-activities, brief participants on safety, and support essential skills, character and wellbeing programmes.

The role includes activity maintenance, high service levels, and adherence to safeguarding protocols. The position runs April–October 2027, 37.5 hours weekly, with a pro-rata starting salary of £25,701 depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Hold at least two outdoor NGB qualifications and preferably working towards others.
• Ability to demonstrate experience of working with a range of client groups.
• First Aid Certificate is essential.
• Driving Licence – preferably with D1 and CPC.
• Experience of working at a Multi-Activity Centre.
• Have a “can do” attitude and strong communication skills with all ages.
• Ability to perform well working as part of a team and on your own.

Responsabilités

• Leading/Instructing Multi-Activities.
• Briefing participants in matters of safety.
• Facilitating core programme in Essential Skills, Character and Wellbeing.
• Activity maintenance and safety checks.
• Provide high levels of customer service.
• Complying with company culture and health & safety.
• Record accident and incident reports.
• Implement Safeguarding and Wellbeing Protocols.
• Maintenance of the Centre.
• Liaising with visiting staff to ensure successful trips.
• Carry out some mealtime and night duties.
